| Image Information Thanks to Messers John Ovenden & Paul Haslam we can show you this archive image of a German Elbing class T23 boat a vessel type that was responsible for the sinking of HMS Charybdis on the evening of Oct 23rd 1943 approx. 50 miles from west of the channnel Isles in the English Channel. The elbings were fast and had been well breifed during the disastriuos night of Operation Pedestal. Back to gallery |
