Image Information
Where the SORIMA salvage operation took place the wreck did appear quite litrally cut away which in turn gave access to interior section of the wreck. At one stage I was able to follow a corridor internally at a depth of 410ft where either side rooms and compartments could clearly be seen. Like the fo'c'sle the walls within had now began to rot out as can be seen in this picture. Beyonfd the wall in this image was a room that at one time was quite possibly set for dinner as it was here that a number of china plates and utensils could be seen. If you look carefully you can actually see some of the plates on the rooms floor.
