Soon after the wreck of the Flying Enterprise was located there was much interest in the ship that had laid almost forgotten for the previous 50 years. Diving interest had generated as had the quest to turn the story into a major documentary. The year after her discovery a team of Danish film producers descended on the site to capture the wreck on film for which was later later edited and sold on to the National Geographic Channel after its preview in Denmark. As Carlsen was of Danish Origin the story was of National importance throughout Denmark. Film makers Lasse Spang Olsen & Emil Øigaard came to the UK with the hope of filming the wreck although with the help of UK underwater filming experts Kevin Pickering, Leigh Bishop & David Wilkins were able to produce the required footage of the lost ship in question. The underwater UK video / exploration team, comprised from Starfish Enterprise divers (whom found the wreck in 2001 ) were able to use their vast experience to explore the depths of the wreck and document what they saw on film. This documentary can be seen repeated on the National Geographic Channel and explores the possibility that the ship was carrying a valuable cargo of importance to the US government and was the subject of an FBI cover up after the ship sank.
