RMS Justicia At 32.234-tons this sunken ocean liner has been described by Leigh Bishop as
perhaps wreck diving's best kept secret. The wreck lies off Malin Head Donegal North West
Ireland in a depth of 231ft. This image clearly shows the bow foredeck as it is today. This
particular section of the wreck has broken off and the tripod has been set up on the seabed
on the break facing the very bow tip where the divers can been seen in the far distance.
The angle of the bow is well over to port which can be seen here, her deck capstans have been
forced high from their mechanism below decks. Film stock was Fuji 400 ISO Sensia slide film
pushed to800, Nikkor 16mm 2.8f wide angle fisheye lens on a manual time exposure of setting
of 4 seconds at aperture F22. Believe it or not on this day the weather was very overcast and
cloudy just image what this wreck is like with the sun high in the air 130ft+ visibility! Awesome.
