From the USA photographer & author Brad Sheard had flown to Hamburg to meet several team members who would then travel across Europe together to Poland. Brad started diving in 1977 and still chooses to use open circuit equipment. On the Gustloff he would dive with a Nikonos V1 and a housed Nikon SLR.
